Valentina D’Efilippo is an award-winning designer working with data across media and industries.
Recently named one of Campaign’s 30 creative female leaders Valentina is a designer, illustrator, and creative director based in London.
She has been enjoying working with public organisations, start-ups, and global brands – pursuing imaginative and compelling visual language. Her practice focuses on information design and data visualisation and her work takes many forms – from theatre productions and exhibitions, to editorial content and interactive platforms.
In 2013, she published The Infographic History of the World. The book is the result of a collaboration with data-journalist James Ball. Available in nine different languages, it is the first attempt to illustrate history and human evolution through data visualisation and infographic storytelling.
Her artwork has become part of the permanent collection of the largest anthropological museum in Austria, The Weltmuseum Wien.
A voice in the field of data and visual storytelling, Valentina shares her work at various international events, collaborates with global brand organisations, and leads workshops attended by students and professionals, including a series of Masterclasses with The Guardian.
